The program was presented to the representatives in the Players- Lounge at AAMI Park before the attendees were given an exclusive tour of the stadium and the chance to ask the club questions relating to the program and the future direction of Melbourne Victory.

Club Victory is designed to develop meaningful and long-term relationships with junior clubs in metropolitan and regional Victoria to help grow and spread the world game across the state.

For the third consecutive year, Club Victory is providing over 8,000 participants with a Melbourne Victory experience which includes:
• Player visits

Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Richard Wilson, said the program was a fantastic chance for the club to give back to the local community.

“We are focused on the development and growth of grassroots football in Victoria and Club Victory gives us the chance to foster strong and sustainable relationships with local Victorian clubs,” Mr Wilson said.

“Melbourne Victory prides itself on its community involvement and Club Victory is just one example of the tireless work the club does to put back into the community.”

Club Victory member and President of Chelsea Football Club, Dom Boccari, said Melbourne Victory-s involvement in local football provided incredible support for the clubs involved in the program.

“Melbourne Victory have been a big part of bridging the gap between grassroots participation and elite football and the work done by the club has really helped strengthen the game,” Mr Boccari said.

The selection criteria for the clubs were based on geographical spread, participant figures, junior clubs of Melbourne Victory players as well as those that have been proactive in their support.
