Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce Elite Football as a Pathway Partner – Academy.
The partnership will see the Club’s Pre-Academy coaches work alongside Elite Football to develop a football curriculum for all levels.
The Pathway Partners model will provide access to coaching methodology, online coaching events and entry into the pre-academy programs that is in line with the Melbourne Victory Academy program.
Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Caroline Carnegie said the expanding Pathways Partner program will allow the Club’s Academy to identify and develop future players.
“We’re excited to expand our partnership with Elite Football as a Pathways Partner, who have had a close partnership with the Club for the past two years,” Carnegie said.
“Elite Football provides a football environment for young players to flourish and with the support of Melbourne Victory, this will allow Elite Football to implement a holistic development program.”
Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica said the partnership will continue the Club’s ability to provide a proficient football experience for junior footballers.
“The Melbourne Victory Pathways Partner program was launched in early 2022 and we’re excited to be able to welcome Elite Football into the program that will allow players and families to see a clear pathway to professional football,” Didulica said.
“Enhancing’s Elite Football program with Melbourne Victory’s coaching methodology and resources will only benefit players who are beginning their footballing journeys.”
The partnership will also see Melbourne Victory’s analysis, strength and conditioning and player welfare resources utilised, providing a holistic approach to the Pathways Partners program.
