Tuesday, October 25 has been confirmed as the date for the historic Westfield FFA Cup 2016 Semi Final between Melbourne Victory and City.
Match details for both Semi Finals were announced by Football Federation Australia on Thursday, with the Victory-City clash to take place at AAMI Park.
The Melbourne Derby Semi Final will be the first time the two teams have met in the Westfield FFA Cup‘s three-year existence, just 10 days after they meet in Round 2 of the Hyundai A-League.
With Victory looking to defend its title and City aiming to reach its first Westfield FFA Cup Final, the match is certain to deliver another intriguing chapter in Melbourne Derby history.
The other Semi Final featuring Canberra Olympic, the last remaining Member Federation club, and Sydney FC is scheduled for Wednesday, October 19.
The match will be played at Viking Park in the Canberra suburb of Wanniassa, the same venue that saw a crowd of 5150 watch Tuggeranong United take on Victory in the Round of 16 in 2014.
Fox Sports will provide full coverage of both Semi Finals.
