A-League Women’s player departures

Following the conclusion of the 2025/26 A-League Women’s season, Melbourne Victory can confirm that four players who contributed to the Club’s run to the Ninja A-League Semi-Finals will depart at the end of their existing contracts.

2026 Victory medallist Rachel Lowe, after three seasons at Victory, which included playing in the 2025 Grand Final, American striker Kennedy White, who won the Golden Boot last term, and shot-stoppers Payton Woodward and Natalie Picak have all been released to pursue new opportunities.

Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica, commented:

“As always, our thanks go to every departing player for what they have contributed to our A-League Women’s program over the past year and across recent seasons.

“In particular, Rachel has been a key driving force in attack across her time at Victory and, as international players, we thank Kennedy and Payton for their time at the Club.

“I wish them all, enabled by their experiences at Melbourne Victory, future success.”

The Club will continue to review its list as it progresses through its inaugural NPLW season.
