Working closely with Senior Academy Head Coach Besart Berisha, he started the season with a strike in Round 1 of the VPL, during a win over Eltham Redbacks, a counter that has set the tone for a competition-leading 15-goal haul from the 18-year-old striker. A former Glen Eira junior, Ghossaini has flourished working under the tutelage of Berisha.

Mihailidis joined Victory at the age of 15 from Glen Eira FC, developing in the Academy for the past five seasons. Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica, commented:

“This moment is a deserved reward for the hard work displayed, and important contributions both Mikey and Jack have made since joining the Club, with both taking assumed responsibility during the current VPL season and committing themselves to the Victory pathway.

“I look forward to each of them grasping this opportunity and growing further at Victory, where developing Victorian talent is fundamental to our vision and a big part of our ongoing success.”

Congratulations, Mikey and Jack!
