Tony Popovic’s side return to domestic action with a Melbourne Derby meeting with City.

It comes after a brave Victory outfit fought hard but was beaten by Vissel Kobe.

Nick D’Agostino’s brace moved him onto 11 goals in all competitions this season, while Ben Folami’s stunning equaliser forced extra-time.

While Folami set up one of D’Agostino’s goals, the latter was also credited with an assist for the former’s 90th-minute strike.

In a boost for Victory, Matt Spiranovic and Rai Marchan made their returns from injury in the loss in Japan.

Matt Acton, meanwhile, made his first start of the season, taking his place in goal.

Victory’s meeting with City will be its first Isuzu UTE A-League game since March 9, when it drew 1-1 with the Central Coast Mariners in Gosford.
