Melbourne Victory aims to extend its Club-record run when it visits Macarthur in the Isuzu UTE A-League on Friday night.

Victory is unbeaten in 11 league games – a Club record – ahead of the trip to Campbelltown Stadium to continue a busy April.

The game will be Victory’s sixth of eight this month as the regular season draws to a close.

Victory extended its unbeaten run with a thrilling 2-1 win over the Newcastle Jets last time out.

Nick D’Agostino’s clinical opener – his eighth league goal of the campaign – put Victory ahead, but it needed a 93rd-minute winner from Francesco Margiotta.

The Italian headed in a cross from Lleyton Brooks to earn Victory a hard-fought three points in Newcastle.

Margiotta’s goal was his fourth of the league season, but marked his second winner of April after also scoring the decisive goal in Perth.

Victory (38 points, 22 games) is third on the table, behind City (46 points, 24 games) and Western United (44 points, 23 games).

After the trip to Macarthur, Victory heads to Brisbane to face the Roar on Anzac Day.
