Melbourne Victory’s James Troisi and Marco Rojas have been nominated for the PFA A-League Player of the Month for January.
Selected by a committee consisting of former Socceroos and Matildas and leading figures in the media, the winners will be determined by a vote of all A-League and W-League players.
Attacking midfielder Troisi scored four goals in six games in January, while Kiwi winger Rojas added another two goals in the same amount of games.
The PFA A-League Player of the Month nominees for January are:

- Marco Rojas (Melbourne Victory)
- Nico Martinez (Western Sydney Wanderers)
- Andrew Nabbout (Newcastle Jets)
- Milos Ninkovic (Sydney FC)
- Diego Castro (Perth Glory)
- Danny Vukovic (Sydney FC)
Meanwhile, the PFA W-League Player of the Month nominees for January are:
- Ashleigh Sykes (Canberra United)
- Sofia Huerta (Adelaide United)
- Sam Kerr (Perth Glory)
- Yukari Kinga (Canberra United)
- Alex Chidiac (Adelaide United)
PFA president Alex Wilkinson congratulated all nominees.
“All of the nominees have excelled during January and have lit up their respective competitions,” said Wilkinson.
“The recognition of your peers means a lot to players and all of the nominees would be worthy winners.”
