Melbourne Victory winger Marco Rojas has won the PFA A-League Player of the Month award for the second straight month.
Having been crowned PFA A-League Player of the Month for November, Rojas enjoyed another stellar month in December.
Starring as Victory enjoyed an undefeated December, Rojas scored on three occasions throughout the month.
“To be named PFA A-League Player of the Month for the second straight month running is a huge honour,” Rojas said.
“December was a good month for the club and this tops it off.
“I’d like to thank my teammates, club staff and fans for their support, and my peers throughout the A-League who voted for me.”
PFA president Alex Wilkinson said both Rojas and the PFA W-League Player of the Month, Perth Glory forward Sam Kerr, were worthy recipients of the players’ recognition.
“Sam and Marco have been in outstanding form this season and are thoroughly deserving winners for December,” said Wilkinson.
“There are few better examples of the quality of players we have playing in our top domestic competitions.”
Victory’s next game is against Brisbane Roar at AAMI Park on Friday night. Tickets are available here.
