The quarter finals of the Melbourne Asian Cup will take place on Sunday November 30 at Darebin International Sports Centre featuring Afghanistan 1, Afghanistan 2, Australia, Australia A, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan and Vietnam.

The quarter finalists qualified after three exciting qualifying rounds held at the Darebin International Sports Centre on October, 26, November 9 and November 16, 2014..
The tournament is organised by the Melbourne Chinese Soccer Association with support from the Victorian Multicultural Commission, Melbourne Victory FC, Football Federation Victoria (FFV) and the Local Organising Committee of the AFC Asian Cup 2015.
While the preliminary matches will be played at Darebin International Sports Centre, the grand finalists will play off at Etihad Stadium ahead of Melbourne Victory’s clash with Sydney FC on December 13.
The annual Melbourne Victory vs Sydney FC game is Melbourne Victory’s annual U-NITE fixture which celebrates multiculturalism, cultural diversity and bringing Melbourne’s diverse communities together through football.
Ken Lam, President of the Melbourne Chinese Soccer Association said “Melbourne Chinese Soccer Association was happy with the qualifiers saying “The football in the qualifiers was exciting and high scoring with 132 goals over 24 games.”
“The eight quarter finalists are all equally matched and we look forward to some great match ups.”
