Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce it has extended its partnership with global sports giant adidas for a further five seasons.
The partnership extension will bring Victory’s association with adidas to 10 years by the end of the 2020/21 season.
Victory is one of two Australian sporting clubs, along with AFL club Hawthorn, to have an official partnership with adidas.
“We are thrilled to continue to work with such a premium brand as adidas and continue the strong relationship we have developed over the last five seasons,” said Victory CEO Ian Robson.
“While adidas has provided state-of-the-art performance wear for our players, it has worked with Victory to grow the game of football and to achieve our shared objectives, and we look forward to building on the partnership over the next five years.”
adidas, which has a long-standing history in football dating back to the 1950s, has enjoyed ongoing partnerships with some of the biggest organisations in world football, including a long and fruitful partnership with FIFA.
“We are thrilled to continue to associate our brand with the most successful club in the Hyundai A-League,” said adidas Pacific General Manager Steve Castledine.
“Victory has been a leader on and off the pitch, and the entire organisation is driven to achieve ongoing success.
“We are proud of what we achieved alongside Victory so far, and we’re excited about what the future holds for our partnership.”
