Melbourne Victory is delighted to enter into a new partnership with Xavier College.
The partnership welcomes Xavier into the Victory family as a Performance School, with the Club and college committing to creating pathways that inspire and elevate talent from grassroots to the global stage.
Xavier, the most successful APS Soccer school in the history of the competition, joins Victory’s Performance School network, and will also be connected, through existing and alumni networks, to the Club’s football activity from participation events to A-Leagues match days.
They will receive access to the Club’s pathway programs and coaches, holiday training camps, and professional development opportunities for Xavier College staff and coaches.
Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Caroline Carnegie, commented:
“Melbourne Victory is proud to welcome Xavier College into our Performance School network. The collaboration will deliver access to elite coaching, mentorship, and pathways into professional sport for both students and staff.
“These elements allow us, with shared focuses and objectives, to engineer a clear and meaningful pathway for the next generation of Victory players.”
Xavier College Head of Sport, Michael Wilson, added:
“Xavier College is delighted to join forces with such a professional and successful football club as Melbourne Victory. We look forward to excellent opportunities for our students and staff alike. Xavier has a very strong record in APS Soccer, and it is one we hope to continue to build on.
“We also wish Melbourne Victory every success on the pitch and very much look forward to working together.”
