Melbourne Victory re-signs Ben Folami

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce the re-signing of forward, Ben Folami until the end of the 2024/25 Isuzu UTE A-League season.

The 23-year-old has extended his stay at the Club after initially signing on loan from Ipswich Town in 2020 and making 57 A-League appearances over three seasons, scoring seven goals.

Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica said he was pleased that Ben will remain at the Club.

“It has been great to see Ben’s growth with Victory in recent seasons,” Didulica said.

“His professionalism and dedication to becoming a better footballer has seen him develop over his time at Victory, including being elevated into the Socceroos, and we’re looking forward to see him take his football to the next level.”

Folami was also thrilled to be extending his time in Melbourne.

“Since joining the Club, I’ve felt home at Melbourne Victory and I’m really motivated to continue to take my game to the next level,” Folami said.

“The playing and coaching group have been amazing over the past season and a bit, and I’m excited to see what this group can achieve.”

Folami’s re-signing joins the signings of Fernando Romero, Damien Da Silva, Bruce Kamau, Connor Chapman and Bruno Fornaroli during the January transfer period.
