Football will return to Olympic Park Stadium when Melbourne Victory Women hosts Canberra United this Saturday (kick off 3pm) in a crucial fixture that could all but secure Melbourne Victory Women’s first Westfield W-League Finals Series appearance.

Canberra and Melbourne Victory Women currently occupy fourth and fifth respectively on the Westfield W-League ladder, separated only by goal difference with two games remaining in the 10-round season.

With Central Coast Mariners Women, Brisbane Roar Women and Sydney FC Women having already guaranteed places in the four-team Finals Series, Melbourne Victory Women and Canberra will likely battle it out for the last remaining spot.

The Round 9 match has been moved due to the condition of Bob Jane Stadium’s surface, but will still be broadcast live and exclusively as scheduled on ABC1 from 3pm.

Tickets for the match are available at the gate, with adults $5 and children $2.
