Melbourne Victory & SEDA’s Sport & Business Program returns

Applications are now open for the 2024 Melbourne Victory Sport & Business Program powered by SEDA Group (SEDA).

This one-year, dual diploma program provides students with an exclusive opportunity to study in a practical, applied learning environment and gain hands-on experience in the sports industry alongside the Melbourne Victory Football Club.

The program has some unique, defining features such as:

  • Game-day and community experiences with Melbourne Victory
  • Industry experience with real-time projects aligned to the strategic objectives of Melbourne Victory
  • Hearing from guest speakers and key industry personnel, including high-profile Melbourne Victory professional=

Our 2023 class is now well underway, with highlights so far including student volunteering opportunities at our Pride Cup Round and All-Abilities Gala Day, as well as workshops delivered by our staff including one on Corporate Sustainability from our Managing Director!

We’re proud of the key step that the Melbourne Victory Sport and Business Program is providing in the career journey of our students. Whether they go on to further study through one of SEDA Group’s many tertiary education partnerships*, or straight into the workforce, we know we’re providing them with great skills and networks to set them on their way.

Melbourne Victory works in collaboration with SEDA Group RTO: 22503 on marketing and promotional services relating to the recruitment of prospective students for this program. SEDA Group is responsible for the training and assessment and the issuance of AQF certification documents.

Dual Diploma consists of SIS50321 Diploma of Sport and BSB50120 Diploma of Business.

In 2023 this training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding, eligibility criteria applies. Funding for subsequent year/s is subject to Government approval.
