Melbourne Victory is pleased to unveil the Club’s 2021/22 Macron home and away kits for the upcoming A-League and W-League seasons.
The kits – which feature the Club’s iconic ‘Big V’ – are the first with Melbourne Victory’s new Technical Apparel Partner, Macron and feature our front of shirt Principal Partners, Metricon on the A-League kit and MATE on the W-League kit.
The design features fluorescent accents on the sleeve, which is a nod to the Club’s fan-favourite 2011/12 away kit and is built with Macron’s ‘Softlock’ technology to ensure it is light, malleable, and tear resistant.
Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Caroline Carnegie said she was excited to launch the Club’s first Macron kits.
“We’ve ushered in a new era with Macron as our Technical Apparel Partner” Carnegie said.
“We are keen to continue to work with Macron over the next few years, to be even more innovative and to push the boundaries in this space in terms of colour and design. We will do that in a way that meets the elite demands of our players, but also meets the high expectations of our fans who wear our colours day in and day out.
“This season’s kits are a reflection of the traditional Melbourne Victory navy, with a new twist to signal our next era. I look forward to seeing both squads on the pitch in the new designs in the coming months.”
Melbourne Victory defender, Jason Davidson said he was impressed with the new season threads.
“From the minute you put on the jersey, you notice a level of sophistication in the fit and then see the finer details on the jersey which makes it really special,” Davidson said.
“The fluoro accents are a great addition to such a classic jersey and I can’t wait to see how we look out on the park this season.”
Macron CEO, Gianluca Pavanello said he’s proud to kick-off the relationship with Melbourne Victory with this impressive kit.
“With our jerseys, we want to enhance the identity and history of an important club like Melbourne Victory,” said Pavanello.
“We have created match kits that combine technicality and sophisticated design. We are confident that both players and fans will appreciate them.”
Melbourne Victory’s A-League and W-League jerseys will be available to pre-order online at the Official Club Shop prior to stock arriving in the first half of October along with our full training range and fan merchandise.
