Games were played in carnival like atmosphere with spectators out in big numbers to support their teams and their heroes.

The Lebanon team in particular enjoyed a tremendous following. As did many other teams including Afghanistan, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran and Iraq. These loyal supporters helped their teams reach new heights.
Melbourne Victory has thrown its support behind the tournament, which is a true celebration of the diverse Asian communities that exist within Melbourne.
The tournament features 16 different teams representing 16 different countries. The format was designed to reflect the official 2015 AFC Asian Cup tournament and the participants who pull on their country’s colours will be representing the country of their origin. These include Afghanistan, Australia, China, East Timor, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Korea, Lebanon, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam and Zambia. Players are predominantly in their 20s and early 30s.
