Member Recognition Round Spotlight: Chris Pullen

In the lead-up to our Member Recognition Round game against Brisbane Roar at AAMI Park on Saturday night, we’re featuring stories on some of our most passionate members.

On Wednesday, we’re highlighting two, starting with Victory member Chris Pullen.

How long have you been a Victory member?

Chris: 13 years.

What is your favourite Melbourne Victory moment?

Chris: It’s hard to go past the 2015 grand final against Sydney. 3-0 in front of a sold out home crowd… Too good!

Why do you support Melbourne Victory?

Chris: We have the most passionate and loyal support in the land.  The atmosphere at our games has been second to none for such a long time.

If you could be in charge of Melbourne Victory for one day, what would you do?

Chris: Maybe move the Brox to striker as it’s the only position he hasn’t played!

Who is your favourite Victory player and why?

Chris: Of all time, Carlos Hernandez. We (and the A-League) have never seen a right boot better than his. From the current crop, Brimmer is the most exciting with the highest potential when played in a system that suits.

Who would you like to see playing for Melbourne Victory?

Chris: Nobody specifically. I think we would be well served in giving some opportunities to  our existing pipeline of players. If I had to choose, maybe we could see if Dani Alves wants a nice final hurrah down under?

Show your support at our final game of the 2022/23 Isuzu UTE A-League Season on Saturday night when we host Brisbane Roar at AAMI Park, as we celebrate our members at Member Recognition Round.
