Star midfielder Christine Nairn claimed the W-League Victory Medal for the first time after a standout campaign.

Nairn, 28, enjoyed another fine season to lead Victory to its first ever Premier’s Plate.

The American playmaker, who was on loan from the Orlando Pride, scored five goals and assisted four in 13 games, including producing spectacular strikes against Brisbane Roar and Melbourne City.

Nairn was also crowned the Players’ Player of the Season, while star striker Natasha Dowie picked up the TAC Golden Boot after netting nine goals.

During the season, Nairn moved into outright fifth for most appearances for Victory, finishing the season on 49.

Her 10 goals for the club are also the fifth most, behind only Dowie (26), Caitlin Friend (14), Jodie Taylor (12) and Lisa De Vanna (11).
