Melbourne Victory will be out to put reigning Playstation 4 NPL Victoria champions Bentleigh Greens to the test when the two sides meet at Kingston Heath on Friday night.
Victory was unable to take anything from its match against Hume City at Epping Stadium last week, as the visiting side capitalised on a couple of uncharacteristic errors to clinch the points.
Victory will look to turn things around quickly, and it has the potential to do so if it can beat an in-form Bentleigh outfit.
The Greens had won three matches and drawn once before suffering a surprising defeat at the hands of Oakleigh Cannons last week.
Bentleigh, coached by John Anastasiadis, is traditionally very strong at home and will look to utilise its exciting brand of football to its advantage.
The Greens will be remembered for their 2014 Westfield FFA Cup run, which saw them shock many on their way to reaching the Semi Finals of the competition.
A win against the second-placed Greens could propel Victory back into the top four if results go its way.
