Melbourne Victory’s upward trajectory continued with a five-star performance against Bentleigh Greens SC in Round 11 of the NPLW.
The Girls in Blue were rampant at The Home of The Matildas, winning 5-0 on Sunday afternoon to now occupy sixth position on the ladder.
Victory were three goals to the good by half-time, opening the scoring through Alice Francou’s precise fifth-minute effort, before Sienna Techera’s thumping finish and Jessica Young’s far-post header put them firmly in charge.
Techera got her second of the contest following the restart, reacting sharpest in a goalmouth scramble, and Jasmine Millar rounded off the scoring with a composed finish late on.

Speaking to MelbourneVictory.com.au, NPLW Head Coach, Santi Escudero, highlighted the team’s run of results and praised their continued development.
“It is a fantastic collective effort from all of the players and staff to record three wins in nine days, helping to significantly improve our ladder position.
“Although we scored more goals during the first half, there were moments where our tempo dipped, so it is important that when we are on top, we do not get complacent. In the second half, our intention was consistent, and both our performance and the scoreline reflected our dominance.”
