Alamein opened the scoring after 24 minutes when they overturned a goal kick, and Summer Laskey delivered an accurate, lifted finish.

Speaking to MelbourneVictory.com.au, NPLW Head Coach, Santi Escudero, reflected on a challenging NPLW outing.
“Although the result was disappointing, the overall performance reinforced many positive signs in the team’s development: control of possession, creativity in attack, strong collective response, and the ability to impose our style even in difficult away conditions.
“This match was decided by fine margins. It highlighted the importance of efficiency in both boxes, but also showed the continued growth of the group in terms of identity, competitiveness and game understanding.”
