Melbourne Victory has locked in two friendlies before its FFA Cup clash against Brisbane Roar next month.
Matches against Port Melbourne and Bentleigh Greens will be Victory’s first competitive hit-outs of the pre-season.
Victory faced the same two clubs in last year’s pre-season, and goals from Mitch Austin, Jai Ingham, Oliver Bozanic, Besart Berisha, George Howard and Christian Theoharous secured the A-League powerhouse a 6-0 win against Port Melbourne.
Bentleigh Greens is another familiar opponent, the sides clashing in the FFA Cup quarter finals in 2016. Marco Rojas and James Troisi scored in a 2-0 win at Kingston Heath.
