Preview: Round 26 v Wellington Phoenix

Melbourne Victory hosts Wellington Phoenix at AAMI Park on Sunday for its final home game of the regular season.

Victory comes into the match with strong A-League form having won four of its last five games, including a 3-1 win over Western Sydney in Round 25 last Saturday.

Its home record against Wellington is also impressive, Victory has won eight of its last 10 games in Melbourne against the ‘Nix.

Melbourne will be looking to bounce back with a positive result following a disappointing trip to South Korea in the AFC Champions League.

Victory suffered a 6-2 loss to Ulsan Hyundai which ended its hopes of progressing from the Group Stage.

Last-placed Wellington comes into the match on the back of a 3-1 loss to Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium.
