Melbourne Victory youngster Nicholas Sette has scored for the Young Socceroos in Perth on Wednesday night.
The Young Socceroos are in the midst of a week-long camp in Perth preparing for upcoming AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers, and Sette’s goal was part of a 3-0 win against the WA State team at Perth Plasterboard Centre Stadium.
“It was a good second half and a good workout for us,” Young Socceroos coach Ufuk Talay told Football West post-match.
“We changed the side at half time to have a look at some players and to give everyone a run and we’ve identified a few players ahead of our qualifiers.
“It was a good opportunity for players to get some game time.”
