Melbourne Victory’ Men’s and Women’s squads will enter a pivotal AAMI Park double-header on Saturday with near-full squads available for selection.

No major injuries were succumbed in the Men’s mid-week loss to Western Sydney, leaving the team in a strong position to rebound on Saturday.

Captain Josh Brillante will return after serving his one-game suspension and should slot straight back into midfield.

Robbie Kruse returned from injury in the Wanderers game, coming off the bench to play the final 20 minutes.

Marco Rojas also came off the bench to manage his body through the heavy recent schedule.

Brendan Hamill (covid protocols) and Rai Marchan (facial surgery) are the only confirmed unavailabilities.

As Victory will be playing their fifth game in 14 days, Tony Popovic may elect to rotate the squad to ensure fresh legs.

Victory’s A-League Women team also escaped mid-week action without any major injury concerns.

Claudia Bunge remains out with international duties, and was replaced in the centre of defence by Amy Jackson on Wednesday night.

Alana Murphy joined the starting XI to fill the gap left by Jackson in midfield.
