Team News: Semi-Final Leg Two

Melbourne Victory is eyeing a spot in the A-League Men Grand Final on Saturday when they host Western United in the second leg of their Semi-Final matchup at AAMI Park.

Victory’s form and health has peaked at the right end of a lengthy season, with coach Tony Popovic declaring the squad at near-full health ahead of the clash.

“We’ve only had a couple of days since the first game but from what we can see, everyone has pulled up well,” Popovic said.

“We should have everyone available for tomorrow.”

Matthew Spiranovic returned in the first leg and played the full 90 minutes, playing a key role in the clean sheet.

Spiranovic’s inclusion for Brendan Hamill was the only change from the previous fixture.

Robbie Kruse (knee) remains out and is unlikely to return in the Finals.
