Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that Michelle Crisfield has accepted a role on the Board of Directors of the Club.
The experienced business leader and company director, with more than 20 years of experience across technology, property development and residential construction, is Director of Operations and Finance at GeoSite IT, the company she co-founded in 2004.
Crisfield also possesses a portfolio of senior leadership and board positions with established Australian businesses including Metricon Homes and Beveridge Property Developers.
An existing Melbourne Victory shareholder, whose father, Mario Biasin, was a founding director and shareholder of the Club, and after whom our life membership award – The Mario Biasin Life Membership – is named, Michelle is exceptionally well versed in strategy, commercial and operational requirements, and leadership and stakeholder management.
Critically, this appointment marries Michelle’s passion for sport and Melbourne Victory with her business expertise and experience while providing the Club with a community-minded perspective where success is delivered by impactful collaboration.
Melbourne Victory Chairman, John Dovaston, commented:
“We are delighted that an individual of Michelle’s calibre and expertise has accepted this position before our 22nd season, strengthening her family’s relationship with Melbourne Victory Football Club.
“Uniquely, Michelle’s experience, professional and personal, adds immense value to the Club’s leadership, assessing decisions through a strategic lens where business acumen and sporting competitiveness synergise.”
Crisfield added:
“Melbourne Victory is more than a football club to me – it’s a part of who I am. Together with my family, I have been a loyal supporter and believer for 22 seasons since the very first game back in 2005.
“I have witnessed all the highs and the lows. I’ve watched the Club grow into a brand and culture that represents so much more than football. Melbourne Victory is about the players, our staff, our passionate supporters, and incredible atmosphere.
“Victory has stood by my family and me, and now I am proud to formally stand with the Club, a family that means more than football. Accepting a role on the Board of Directors at the Club is an incredible honour.”
