Melbourne Victory forwards Besart Berisha and Kosta Barbarouses have been nominated for the Professional Footballers Australia A-League Team of the Season.
The six nominees polled the highest votes from the PFA’s A-League-based members.
The 2015/16 PFA A-League Team of the Season forward nominees are:
- Besart Berisha (Melbourne Victory)
- Kosta Barbarouses (Melbourne Victory)
- Craig Goodwin (Adelaide United)
- Bruno Fornaroli (Melbourne City)
- Jamie Maclaren (Brisbane Roar)
- Harry Novillo (Melbourne City)
Berisha scored a club record 18 goals in the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 season, while Barbarouses chipped in with six of his own.
Earlier this week, Victory defenders Matthieu Delpierre and Jason Geria and goalkeeper Danny Vukovic were also nominated for the PFA A-League Team of the Season.
The PFA A-League Team of the Season will be announced during Grand Final week.
