Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that Nicki Flannery has re-signed.
The 27-year-old winger, armed with more than a decade of A-League know-how and now targeting a half-century of Victory appearances, has agreed terms ahead of the 2026/27 season.
In her first year at the Club, the Canberran started all but one of the team’s matches en route to the Grand Final, notably scoring on the final day of the regular season as the Girls in Blue finished second on the ladder.
Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica, commented:
“Nicki guarantees terrific energy and quality in the final third, possessing the capacity to be a real difference in tight matches.”
“Her contributions, although reduced on-field last season due to injury, were beneficial to the collective effort and we hope to see more of this going forward.”
Flannery said:
“I’ve had a really strong off-season, challenging myself and trusting my body, I’ve put in a lot of work.”
“I’m feeling really excited for what is to come this season and I’m determined to contribute to the team as much as I can. Gauging from our first pre-season trainings with the squad, this year is shaping up to be a good one!”
