Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce the signing of NWSL forward Darian Jenkins for the Westfield W-League 2019/20 Season.
Jenkins, 24, has represented the North Carolina Courage and, most recently, Reign FC in the NWSL since 2017 for a total of 30 appearances.
The striker finished with the third most goals for Reign FC last season, highlighted by a brace in the span of nine minutes in a 3-1 win over the Orlando Pride for which she was subsequently named NWSL Player of the Week for Week 21.
Jenkins is eager to arrive in Melbourne and experience her first taste of W-League action.
“I’m beyond excited to be joining Melbourne Victory,” said Jenkins.
“I’m truly looking forward to getting to know the team, coaching staff and the community to continue building on the success they had last year.
“I want to thank MVFC for giving me this opportunity and I can’t wait to kick things off!”
