Melbourne Victory’s players will sport a customised playing kit for their 2026 Anzac Day fixtures.
The Women’s First Team visit Canberra United on Saturday, April 25, kick-off 2pm AEST, for their Ninja A-League 2026 Finals Series Elimination Final.
Later that day, the Men’s First Team visit Western Sydney Wanderers, kick-off 7.35pm AEST, with their Isuzu UTE A-League Round 26 fixture being the last of the regular season schedule.
Falling on Anzac Day, Australia’s national day of commemoration, all Victory players will wear armbands printed with rosemary. Wearing rosemary has become a traditional symbol of remembrance and commemoration in Australia.
Earlier this week, Men’s and Women’s players – Sebastian Esposito, Denus Genreau, A-League Men’s Captain, Roderick Miranda, Claudia Bunge, Nicki Flannery – visited the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne, undertaking a guided tour that highlighted the contribution of Australians from migrant backgrounds who served in conflicts.

The Club continues to build connections with organisations that support people who have served in wars, having established a partnership with RSL Victoria that will lead to partnership-based programs in the community. As a sign of support, all match-day players and football staff will wear a Silver Rising ANZAC badge to commemorate April 25.
