Two of Melbourne Victory’s A-League young guns have been called up by Australia’s U23 side for a pair of international friendlies against Korea Republic U23s in October.
Joshua Inserra and Franco Lino have both been named in Trevor Morgan’s 23-player squad for the October window, which features matches against Korea Republic on Saturday, 3 October and Tuesday, 6 October.
The matches mark the start of the squad’s campaign towards qualification for both the AFC U23 Asian Cup Japan 2028 and the subsequent Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
