Melbourne Victory Head Coach Kevin Muscat says Gui Finkler and Nick Ansell will likely make their way into the starting XI for tomorrow night’s match against Brisbane Roar.
Ansell is set to replace marquee man Pablo Contreras, after the Chilean was unable to recover from an injury that saw him substituted during last week’s 1-1 draw with Western Sydney.

Muscat also confirmed Finkler was likely to make his first start of the 2013/14 Hyundai A-League season, in place of youngster Connor Pain.
“I’ve maintained throughout this whole campaign with Gui, he’s been tremendous for us in the role he’s had to play,” Muscat said.
“We obviously understand where his body is and we’ll wait and see how he gets through another session today and that means he’s completed the full week, so he’ll certainly be in contention.
“While Nick (Ansell) has proven in recent games, when he’s been given the opportunity he hasn’t let anybody down.”
Archie Thompson will miss again, but Muscat said the 35-year-old is nearing a return to full fitness.
“He’s close again, he’s been close for a little while, but we are going to be precautious with him and we ruled him out early in the week to give him an opportunity to make sure he’s 100 per cent for the following week.”
