The 18-year-old said the Geelong qualifier against Thai powerhouse Muangthong United was something the side was desperate to win.
“We’re one game away from going into the Champions League with Asia’s best,” Galloway said.
“The feeling is good. Everyone knows how important this game is to us.
“Everyone’s focused on winning this game to set us up for the group stage.”
On his own form, Galloway said he had been pleased with his personal performances, but wasn’t resting on his laurels.
“I was fairly happy with my game on the weekend and there’s still a lot to improve on, but in the end it’s the team result and the team that matters,” Galloway said.
“I want to try and be as perfect as you can be. You try your best to be the best every week.”
