Melbourne Victory recorded a resounding 1-4 Round 9 success on the road to North Sunshine Eagles SC.
The seventh-placed Boys in Blue made it three wins from their last four matches, thanks to a second-half goal rush at Larissa Reserve on Saturday afternoon.
Jordan Hoey’s early opener gave Victory a slender half-time advantage before they netted thrice in 20 minutes following the recess to race away from the Eagles.
A Mikey Ghossaini brace built up a three-goal lead by the hour mark, ahead of Jack Mihailidis adding number four, and Aidan Olds pulling one back for the hosts.
