With just 12 regular-season games, a fast start is crucial in the Westfield W-League.
Melbourne Victory will begin its 2020/21 campaign away to the Western Sydney Wanderers at Bankwest Stadium on December 27.
It will follow that trip with a bye before visiting Adelaide United and then hosting Perth Glory and Brisbane Roar.
Jeff Hopkins’ side has made the Finals Series in the past two seasons, including winning a maiden Premier’s Plate in 2018/19.
That campaign saw Victory make its best ever start to a campaign and beginning well has been key.
We take a look at our previous starts in the Westfield W-League.
