A second-half Natasha Dowie goal saw Melbourne Victory earn a 1-1 draw against the Western Sydney Wanderers in the Westfield W-League.
Victory enjoyed the better of the opportunities but fell behind to an Erica Halloway goal after a long first-half delay due to a storm at Lakeside Stadium on Friday night.
However, the hosts claimed a deserved point through Dowie, who struck a record-equalling 14th goal in Victory colours.
Victory made the brighter start as Dowie and Jeon Ga-eul went close in the opening seven minutes.
Kyra Cooney-Cross forced Wanderers goalkeeper Jada Mathyssen-Whyman into a straightforward save before Victory’s best chance of the half.
Dowie did superbly on the right side of the area before crossing to Melina Ayres, whose effort crashed against the crossbar.
Play was stopped for more than half an hour in the 36th minute due to a storm in Melbourne.
When the players returned, the Wanderers took the lead as Halloway picked out the bottom corner following a set-piece.
Victory continued to look likely in the second half and deservedly levelled in the 63rd minute.
A Laura Spiranovic strike was blocked and fell to Dowie, who swept in a 14th goal in Victory colours to join Caitlin Friend atop the club’s goalscoring charts.
Both teams had their chances in a thrilling final half-hour, but had to settle for a draw.
