With the inaugural National Youth League season set to begin this month, melbournevictory.com.au takes a closer look at some of Victory Youth-s players, starting with goalkeeper Mijo Marinovic.
Marinovic, 19, joins Victory Youth from North Geelong Warriors, following a stint with Melbourne Knights in the Victorian Premier League and a trial with Croatian giant Dinamo Zagreb.
The tall shot stopper, who was born and raised in Geelong, represented Victoria Country in his junior career and has gained valuable experience from Victory goalkeepers Michael Theoklitos and Mitchell Langerak since joining the club.
Victory Youth will play its first National Youth League match in the midst of the school holidays against Queensland Roar Youth at Green Gully Reserve on Friday, 26 September (kick off 3:30pm).
Entry to all Victory Youth home matches is free.
