Biography
Joining the club in 2021 and earning promotion to the first-team squad in 2023, Joshua Inserra is a talented 21-year-old defender.
In early 2025, Inserra had the opportunity to represent the Young Socceroos at the AFC U20 Asian Cup, making four appearances in the tournament as Australia were crowned the Champions.
Returning from international duty, Inserra went on to make nine league appearances for the remainder of the season, impressing on the right side of defence.
The Melbourne-native continued his upward trajectory into the 2025/26 season as one of the members of the Leadership Group, recording 11 appearances down Victory’s right flank on his way to being recognised with the Richard Smith Youth Scholarship Award at the 2026 Victory Medal.
