Louis D’Arrigo
27 Midfielder
Signed by Melbourne Victory ahead of the 2025/26 season, Louis D’Arrigo is a hard-working and intelligent midfielder.
Standing out in Adelaide United’s youth ranks, D’Arrigo joined the Reds’ first team as a 16-year-old and was recognised as the club’s young player of the season at the conclusion of the 2018/19 campaign.
Becoming United’s youngest player to make 50 senior appearances, D’Arrigo was also recognised at the national level, lifting the AFF U19 Youth Championship in 2019 and starring for the Australia U23s at the famous Maurice Revello Tournament in 2023.
D’Arrigo made the move to Polish side Lechia Gdańsk in 2023, appearing 35 times and scoring twice across his two seasons with the club, notably helping the club secure promotion back to the Polish top tier.
Awarded with the Dylan Tombides Medal in 2024 for demonstrating exemplary standards, commitment, and courage in representing Australia at youth level, D’Arrigo provides great leadership despite his young age.
Impressing in pre-season under head coach Arthur Diles, D’Arrigo’s passing vision and range will make the 23-year-old an exciting player to watch this season.
