Miranda is a decorated Portuguese defender who adds elite quality to Victory’s line-up.

The 30-year-old spent the early part of his career with Portuguese giants Benfica, graduating from their academy program after nine years.

Miranda later joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2017, playing in their promotion season from the English Championship to the Premier League before joining Olympiakos, where he represented the Greek powerhouse in the UEFA Champions League.

The defender spent the start of 2021 with Turkish Super Lig side Gaziantep where he made 13 appearances.
