Melbourne Victory can confirm that Jake Brimmer, Chris Ikonomidis, Stefan Nigro, Eli Adams, Salim Khelifi and Ahmad Taleb will depart the Club after the completion of the 2023/24 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
Jake Brimmer made 99 A-League Men’s appearances over his four seasons at Victory, scoring 15 goals and being named the Johnny Warren Medallist and Victory Medallist in 2021/22.
Chris Ikonomidis departs after three seasons with the Club, making 75 A-League Men’s appearances and scoring the winner in Victory’s 2021 Australia Cup triumph.
Stefan Nigro completes his second stint at the Club with 43 appearances totalling 69 A-League Men’s matches for Victory while Eli Adams departs with 15 A-League Men’s appearances over two seasons.
Mid-season loan acquisition Salim Khelifi will also not return after the expiration of his contract and Ahmad Taleb ends his two seasons at the Club, featuring predominantly for the Academy side.
