Melbourne Victory and LifeChanger Foundation are excited to announce details for this month’s Stand Together Mental Health Round, uniting football and community in the support of youth mental wellbeing.
The Club will host a series of match-day activations at AAMI Park before Victory face Macarthur FC in the Isuzu UTE A-League on Sunday, March 15, kick-off 7pm AEDT.
Activations will include giveaways, an obstacle course brought to you by a partner of both the Club and LifeChanger, Tyrepower, and a LifeChanger Scavenger Hunt, all celebrating community, connection, and wellbeing.
LifeChanger ambassadors will also be present, meeting fans, starting conversations about youth mental health and encouraging supporters to learn more about LifeChanger’s preventative programs.
This round and the match day activations will build on a longstanding partnership between LifeChanger and Victory, with the Club supporting the delivery of LifeChanger’s preventative mental health programs across schools and its Academy pathway since 2022. These programs equip young people with the practical tools necessary to build self-awareness, emotional intelligence and resilience.
LifeChanger Foundation is a preventative youth mental health and wellbeing non-profit that empowers young people to thrive by developing their social, emotional and resilience skills for life. They are at the forefront of mental health prevention, supporting young people with the critical foundation skills and tools they need to successfully navigate life, overcome challenges and pursue their unlimited potential. In 2024 alone, LifeChanger positively impacted more than 140,000 young people across 600+ schools in Australia and New Zealand.
In the lead-up to the Stand Together Round, LifeChanger Foundation will deliver engaging and interactive workshops to the A-League Men’s playing group and the U15 and U16 Academy teams. Such sessions are tailored to build awareness of the partnership and create a new group of advocates within the Victory family, reinforcing the importance of open conversations about mental wellbeing, both within sport and beyond it.

Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Caroline Carnegie, said the Club is proud to stand alongside LifeChanger.
“As a Club, we understand the influence we have on young people across our community. Through our longstanding partnership with LifeChanger, we are committed to supporting young people to build confidence, resilience and a strong sense of self. The Stand Together Round brings that commitment to life and helps us live our vision to lead, unite, connect and inspire through football.”
CEO and Founder of LifeChanger Foundation, Scott Waters, added:
“Sport has an incredible ability to bring people together, and that connection can be life-changing. Our partnership with Melbourne Victory allows us to reach young people in powerful and relatable ways. The Stand Together Round is about reinforcing that mental wellbeing matters, and that no young person should feel alone in their challenges.”
By combining professional sport with evidence-based preventative education, Melbourne Victory and LifeChanger are standing together to encourage connection, conversation and early support.
