Lane and Millar sign YDAs for Victory

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that two players have signed Youth Development Agreements.

Goalkeeper Shaylee Lane and striker Jasmine Millar will continue their development around the A-League Women’s program this season.

They have been awarded Ninja A-League shirt numbers for 2026/27, with Millar named in Victory’s Matchweek 1 squad for the trip to Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday, October 17, kick-off 3:00pm AEDT.

Both players have signed their Agreements following integral contributions to Victory’s first year competing in the NPLW.

16-year-old Lane made 25 appearances, many of which helped the U20s win the Championship, whilst fellow teenager Millar netted eight times for the senior side.

Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica, commented:

“Congratulations to both players on this milestone in their young careers. This is a proud moment for them and their families, and is credit to each player for their work ethic and attitude.

“It is also a testament to our NPLW program and the pathway toward the professional game that this is enabling.”

The Youth Development Agreements follow Anna Sutter, Sophie Harding, Alicia Woods, Ayana Aoyagi and Angela Beard signing, Claudia Bunge, Chelsea Blissett, Nicki Flannery, Courtney Newbon, and Zoe McMeeken re-signing, and the awarding of Scholarship Contracts to Leyla Hussein, Chloe McKenzie, Poppy O’Keeffe, and Sienna Techera.
