Melbourne Victory extends its partnership with Victoria University

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce Victoria University will be the Club’s Official University Partner this season. Having been a Major Partner since 2017, Victoria University provides an opportunity for its students to engage and connect with Melbourne Victory, delivering a pathway for students to gain invaluable experience in a range of departments within the Club. Managing Director, Caroline Carnegie, said she was looking forward to developing the relationship further.

Melbourne Victory signs Italian forward Francesco Margiotta

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce the signing of Italian forward Francesco Margiotta ahead of the 2021/22 Isuzu UTE A-League season. The 28-year-old has signed a one-year deal which will see Margiotta join the Club until the end of the 2021/22 season. Isuzu UTE A-League Head Coach, Tony Popovic, said the Italian will add firepower to his side’s potent forward third.  “Francesco has built his career on being a commanding centre forward and we’re confident he will play an important role for Melbourne Victory this season,” Popovic said.

The A-Leagues Name Isuzu UTE Australia as First Ever Naming Rights Partner for Men’s Competition

The A-Leagues today announce the signing of Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) as the first naming rights partner of its men’s competition, which will be officially known as the ‘Isuzu UTE A-League Men’. The three-year partnership marks the latest milestone in the A-Leagues’ ambitious growth and commercial development strategy. Commencing with the upcoming season (2021-22), the partnership also includes naming rights of the A-League Men’s Finals Series and becoming the Official Automotive Partner of the A-Leagues’ Men, Women, Youth and E-Sports Leagues.

Victory confirms 2021/22 A-League Women’s goalkeepers

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce the re-signing of goalkeepers Casey Dumont and Melissa Maizels ahead of the 2021/22 A-League Women’s season.  Dumont returns to the squad for the upcoming campaign after spending 2020/21 on the sidelines with a ruptured Achilles tendon.  The two-time A-League Women’s Champion has made over 103 appearances in the league, notching 35 clean sheets in her domestic career and playing a crucial role in the Club’s 2018/19 Championship season.

A large contingent of Victory's stars are returning ahead of a bid to win back-to-back titles following the memorable previous campaign. Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce KFC will extend its partnership with the Club for a further three seasons. An inaugural Partner since 2005, KFC has been a part of Melbourne Victory’s journey since its inception, featuring prominently on the A-League side’s jersey for the past 16 seasons. Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Caroline Carnegie said she was excited to continue one of the Club’s and the A-League's longest-standing partnerships.

Melbourne Victory signs Matildas defender Courtney Nevin 

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce the signing of Matildas starlet Courtney Nevin for the 2021/22 A-League Women season.  The 19-year-old joins the Club after three seasons with Western Sydney Wanderers where she made 28 appearances for the Club, after having made her A-League Women's debut at 16-years of age.

Melbourne Victory joins forces with Dr. Suzana Kotevska for the upcoming A-League Women season

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce Dr. Suzana Kotevska as the Club’s Official A-League Women's Female Health Specialist. Dr. Suzana Kotevska’s team provides gynaecology, obstetric and female health services and will support the Club’s A-League Women's team for the 2021/22 season by having a presence on the team’s playing shorts. Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Caroline Carnegie said she was excited to partner with Dr. Suzana Kotevska.

Melbourne Victory signs Australian forward Harriet Withers

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce the signing of dynamic forward Harriet Withers for the 2021/22 A-League Women's season.  The 25-year-old joins the Club after spending the past season at Melbourne City, making eight appearances throughout 2020/21 and finding the back of the net once in the campaign.  The northern New South Wales native was a product of the US college system, spending four years with the Murray State Racers in Kentucky.

Melbourne Victory re-signs Elite Girls Program graduate Paige Zois 

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce the re-signing of midfielder Paige Zois for the next two W-League seasons.  The 17-year-old is a product of Victory’s W-League Elite Girls Program, making her senior debut for the Club as a 16-year-old in the AFC Women’s Club Championship against Jiangsu Suning and W-League debut against Brisbane Roar in the Club’s Championship-winning season.

Home opener, two derbies to start W-League title defence

Melbourne Victory's W-League Championship defence begins with two derbies inside the opening four rounds in 2021/22. Jeff Hopkins' side, which claimed Victory's second Championship last season, again has a blockbuster-filled start to the campaign. The first four rounds of the W-League season were announced on Thursday, with early games based on a conference system. Victory has retained a key core of the Championship-winning squad, which faces some key early games.
