Melbourne Victory’s Besart Berisha dialled into 3AW’s Sports Today on Thursday night.
The Senior Academy Head Coach talked with host Jimmy Bartel, discussing his team’s VPL Men 1 season as the Boys in Blue hunt promotion.
Victory most recently toppled Manningham United Blues 0-3 to maintain their grip on fourth place going into the final round of the regular season.
Speaking to 3AW, Berisha reflected on the season so far – his first leading the team.
“It has been a really positive and important season for me as a coach and also for the boys. We could create some great development here and improve the players.
“It is all about development in this space; we are really happy with this. We have given four players professional contracts.”
