Melbourne Victory is proud to announce the signing of Alana Murphy. Alana is the first player to graduate from the Club’s Elite Girls Program into the senior W-League squad.
The 15-year-old becomes the fourth W-league signing announced by Victory, ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Murphy, who is a Victory supporter, is delighted to have signed her first contract with the Club.
“I’ve been a Victory fan since I was five or six, so this is a dream come true,” Murphy said.
“I’ll be putting in the hard work to make the Club proud and repay Jeff for the faith he has in me.”

Women’s Head Coach Jeff Hopkins is looking forward to working with Murphy, as she continues her development as a midfielder.
“Alana has been with us for a couple of years now, so it is great to get her signature,” he said.
“She is technically great and also an intelligent player.
“She also has a real passion for football and this Club,” Hopkins said.
Hopkins continues to strengthen the squad ahead of the 2021/22 campaign, which is set to commence on November 13.
