Cooney-Cross named in Matildas squad to face Ireland
Melbourne Victory star Kyra Cooney-Cross has been named in the Commonwealth Bank Matildas squad to face the Republic of Ireland in a friendly later this month. Cooney-Cross, 19, was included in a 25-player squad named by Head Coach Tony Gustavsson on Wednesday. The Commonwealth Bank Matildas will face the Republic of Ireland at Tallaght Stadium in Dublin on September 22 (AEST).
