Popovic on Tuesday’s performance…

“I thought our patience was good in the front third. Some of our decisions we can improve on but we defended very well.”

“We understood the type of game it was and we were calm about it, which is a real positive sign for us that we were patient and in the end we scored a wonderful goal.”

on the team’s mentality for Leg Two

“We’ve got the advantage. We’ve got the goal we wanted and the win we wanted in a tough game.”

“We expect another battle but we also expect a different type of atmosphere, a lot more of our supporters at the game and we’re confident they can help us achieve what we want to achieve.”

“We know we have to be positive, we have to be aggressive. We can’t just think we can win this game as it is now. We have to take the game to Western United.”
